Is Barack Obama Electable? Recent elections in Polls
Sunday, September 25th, 2011Barack Obama is one of the finest and most eloquent of the presidential candidates, but all kinds of questions were raised about whether he is electable. There are a few questions he faces. The first is that he is African-American. And the second is the fact that his father was Muslim, though he is Christian.
Religion and race are factors to be nothing but the latest polls still show that up to 30% of America will never vote for a Muslim. It is a smaller group of about 10% who will never vote for African-American. But the reality is probably a little more than 10% because many can not be embarrassed or shy to say it. So if you vote in the Democratic primaries, are aware of the overall eligibility. Election Day
